St. Francis Tower, Ipswich

The project consists of an existing 1960’s
tower block in the heart of Ipswich Town Centre. The developer
is refitting the building, creating 114 studio and one bedroom
apartments with a commercial unit on the ground floor. The
property is scheduled for completion in August/September 2007
with show case flat being opened in July.
Coriander Buildings have been contracted
in to project manage this development for the owners. The
building is to be modernised by re-cladding the façade
and stripping out and re-fitting the internal fabric of the
building. Responsibilities include full site management, subcontractor
packages and programme management and budget control.
